How does the ice release work?

Can I put it in the dishwasher?
Hand wash only — warm water and mild soap keep the silicone base and straw in best condition.
Can I use it for hot drinks?
No — ChillMate is designed for cold drinks and ice making. Boiling water is not suitable for the materials.
What's the difference between the two sizes?
The 500 ml is the compact edition (16.2 cm tall) for smaller freezers and handbags. The 800 ml (21.7 cm) makes more ice per freeze.
Is it food safe?
Yes — ChillMate is made from food-grade materials and holds LFGB certification, the German food-contact standard.
